The phone comes with a good start up kit which includes a stereo handsfree kit, software for the users PC & a 1GB Memory Stick Micro™ M2™ card.

The W888i Walkman® phone comes with a built in camera feature which allows the user to capture, store & save their memories as photos easily. The built in digital camera comes with a 2.5 x digital zoom & with photo setting which allows the user to take the perfect photo.The highly music focused Sony Ericsson W888i comes with a built in music player which supports all popular music formats & provides high quality sound. The phone comes with music focused features including MusicDJ™ melody composer, PlayNow™ quick select ringtone feature, Mega Bass™ bass feature & TrackID™ music identification feature.

The user can share their photos & video via the MMS message service which allows the user to create a message complete with a photo or video with text & sound. The user can send a MMS message to any MMS compatible contact & enjoy the sharing experience. The phone supports SMS text messaging & an email messaging service. The Sony Ericsson W888i comes with push email which provides the user with instant emails on their phone. The push email service works just like the users inbox on their PC with an instant service.
