The 2012 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen has received some changes for the model year and features reliability, safety and better fuel economy. The Jetta SportWagen is something different than the Jetta Sedan. It gives double sophisticated level suspension and comes with good standard brakes. It will be available with features such as power windows, air conditioning, automatic up and down operation of power windows, 6-way power heated front seats, heated washer nozzles, power heated mirrors, a trip computer, cruise control, and tilt and telescopic steering wheel. The model will also boast Bluetooth, CD and MP3 player, 8-speaker stereo, and an auxiliary audio input jack. The model will be identified through its 16 inches of steel wheels which will be covered by plastic wheel covers and cloth seats.

The 2.5 SE model has got good exterior treatment with 16 inches of alloy wheels and chrome exterior trim. Interior features a leather wrapped multifunction steering wheel, leatherette upholstery, upgraded sound system with a CD changer,satellite radio, HD Radio and iPod connection. Sunroof package includes power panoramic sunroof and 17 inches of alloy wheels.
The 2.0 TDI Clean Diesel includes an outlet of 115 volt power and comes with Sunroof and 17 inches of alloy wheels. Besides, a power panoramic sunroof is the added feature. This model with sunroof and navigation adds navigation system and keyless entry with push butto start.
2.5 S and 2.5 SE versions will receive an engine of 2.5 liter inline 5-cylinder which easily produces 170 horsepower. Fuel economy is rated at 23/33 mpg city/highway with manual gearbox. 24/31 mpg city/highway is offered with the Tiptronic automatic. For better fuel economy, you can shift to 2.0 TDI Clean Diesel models which feature a turbocharged 2.0 liter inline 4-cylinder diesel engine and produce 140 horsepower and 236 pound feet of torque. It gives 30 mpg city and 42 mpg highway.
