The Base and PreRunner are equipped with a 2.7liter engine with 4 cylinders that makes it a V4. The Base has an All Wheel Drive and has a Manual Speed Transmission. The other two trims have a 4.0liter engine with 6 cylinders which makes it a V6. The PreRunner V6 and V6 have an Automatic Speed Transmission and V6 has an All Wheel Drive.
