Toyota Matrix XRS 2011 Review:
The 2011, Toyota Matrix has two models i.e. Matrix XRS and Matrix S and both are available in manual and automatic speed transmission. It made its debut at “Chicago Auto Show” where it collected lots of fan following. A lot of teeny-weeny cars were introduced before this year and got lots of applause but this Toyota Matrix both XRS and S got lot of recognition because of its less fuel consumption and at the first glimpse it gives an impression of a wagon. It outputs 158 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque. It has five speed automatic and manual transmissions. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 21 mpg city/29 mpg highway with the automatic and 21mpg/28 mpg with the manual. It has a 4-wheel Anti-lock Brake System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist.

There are a number of safety features provided in this car by Toyota. It has a facility of Star Safety System. It includes Vehicle Stability Control which keeps the car stable if the car skids or in case of under steering and over steering. It has embedded Active Traction Control, Multi-terrain 4-wheel Anti-lock Brake System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist, which controls the speed of the car incase of problem. It has Driver front airbag and front passenger airbag with Advanced Airbag System which keeps its guests safe incase of any violent accident. It has Direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System which keeps the driver informed if there is less-pressure in any of the tires.
