Tata Nano 2011 In India Review, Price, Specifications And Petrol Mileage

Tata Nano car is the cheapest car of the world. It surprised everyone at Auto Expo New Delhi 2008 when introduced by Tata.

With its Unique and innovative design this car has superb fuel economy (it gives mileage of 23 km in one litre of petrol). It has 2 cylinders, 624 (cc) engine with 4-speed Manual transmission system. This is excellent car for busy roads of urban India with its stat-of-the-art rear engine placement. Ratan Tata, Chairman of Tata Motors once decided to provide a cheap car to those lower middle class people who use two wheelers and this car is completion of that dream. Tata Nano is available in 6 colours and 8 variant. Air conditioner/auto systems are available in only top-end variant.

    4 years warranty is great thing to offer. I remember TATA used to give Sierra and other models 3 years warranty. But that was to cover up the manufacturing defects. Western media is bashing this awesome car for those 10-12 issues of burning due to electrical complaints. Apparently great car manufacturers including toyota and honda do mass factory recalls for that number of defects which TATA didn’t do (because lack of such laws in India).

    It’s perfect precisely to give competition to cars in its segment. it’s really a competitive model. Maybe it is the most competitive car from the price point of view. And, we know, price is even half the ratio a customer demand.

    -BODY HEAVY RATTLING SOUND TO BE RECTIFIED STILL.
    -ENGINE OVER HEATING AFTER 10KMS OPERATION IS TO BE MINIMISED.
    -REAR BUMPER TO BE PROVIDED FOR SAFETY OF ENGINE .
