Mercedes R Class 2012 Review:
The 2012 Mercedes Benz R Class is a luxury minivan. When you sit inside this minivan and drive it believe me it’s more than a minivan. It is a SUV and has all the features of a pure and true SUV. It can easily accommodate 6 adult passengers.

Mercedes R Class 2012 Exterior And Interior:
Talking of the exterior of the 2012 Benz R Class, it is a good looking SUV which is actually a minivan. It is equipped with 18 inch alloy wheels. The tires feel hard and stiff when they slam across pavement joints, and they crack Loud. The front of this Benz is beautifully dressed up with a chrome grille on which the logo is hanging. The front headlights are not gigantic and not very sleek either. There is dual exhaust at the rear of this vehicle. The curves and moldings on both the sides give a very powerful and attractive look to the minivan. The door handles are of the same color as that of the exterior. The side mirrors have a thin horizontal light and the side light lits up when you are turning to that very side.
The interior of the R Class is also impressive. It has comfortable seats with enough head and leg space. The cabin is attractive with proper finishing and polish. The cabin has wood inlays in the middle. The

dashboard is filled with wireless connectivity for mobile phone and USB port for iPod. A music system is there too to give you a melodious ride. The door sills are made up of aluminum and the gauges have a sleeker look. There are a few buttons on the steering wheel. There are two cup holders in the front middle of the car and a centre console to let you keep your important things. The rear seats are also comfortable enough.

Mercedes R Class 2012 Performance:
The all new Benz R Class is available in two trims:
R350 4Matic
R350 Blue TEC
The R350 4Matic is equipped with a 3.5liter engine and has 6 cylinders which makes it a V6. It has an Automatic Seven Speed Transmission and has an All Wheel Drive. The Benz R Class takes 8.0 seconds to get its acceleration from 0-60. The R350 Blue TEC is equipped with a 3.0liter engine and has 6 cylinders which make it a V6. It has Seven Speed Automatic Transmission and has an All Wheel Drive. Steering feels just right for this new class of car, and it requires moderate effort with utterly satisfying response.

Mercedes R Class 2012 Safety:
The 2012 Mercedes Benz R Class has got good amount of safety features. Its stopping is steady and firm with the disc brakes, and an Anti Lock Braking System. There is a feature of Vehicle Stability Assist which helps to control the steering from both over steering and under steering. There is a Traction Control System too which is helpful to maintain the acceleration of the front wheels. Mercedes’ “mbrace” emergency telematics system is also standard.

Conclusion:
The latest R is mostly like a minivan in its structure and interior but it drives more like some big luxury sedans. It’s livelier and active than most minivans. It is refined, versatile, and luxurious. It provides you with a smooth ride even when the surfaces are rough.

    Hi,
Thanks for sharing this. Maruti has been playing a good role in the Indian auto market. Now with launch of Grand Vitara it has entered into Sedan world. Grand Vitara has a stunning exterior and it is really attractive. The car is so eye catchy. But I don’t know whether it is friendly to the Indian roads or not. I think a car with such a high price would surely do well. In Kolkata it is quite tough to get a parking place for such a huge car.
