It has either got a 6 Speed Manual Transmission or 6 Speed Automatic Transmission. It produces 138 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque. It has an EAP of 30 mpg in city streets and 40mpg on highway.

Hyundai Accent 2012 Safety:
The new Accent has active front head restraints, front seat side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags to keep you safe if any unfortunate incident takes place. There is Traction Control System and Antilock Brake Assist available in this car. The Stability Control System is also available in this car which keeps the car stable if it skids, under steers or over steers.
